Abstract
Plato’s criticism of democracy is based on comparisons to other forms of government and in light of the constitution of a person with a democratic soul. I will attempt to delineate the different constitutions of the souls that correspond to a form of government to show Plato’s discontent with it. And I will also critique Plato’s critique of democracy in this paper.
